Ok so you're probably thinking -- "Grape jelly and cranberries in meatballs?" And you're probably making some sort of disgusted look. But it's actually delicious. Here we go...
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of ground turkey meat
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 cans of tomato puree
- 3 tbsp Grape Jelly
- Several cloves of Garlic
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Optional: Shredded carrots - 2-4 carrots, depending on size and Shredded Zucchini.
Mix meat, garlic, onion, and egg (and shredded carrots and zucchini). Form this mixture into small balls. Mix all other ingredients in a large pot. Place balls in sauce and simmer 30-50 min.
