Really cute!

I read it, being sure that Jeff would neglect cold soaks. I was wrong. I'm a great believer in cold soaks, specially during particularly stressful training.

I've this URL on cold baths useful: http://runningtimes.com/rt/articles/?id=8731

Dear Itriharder,

Sorry for the delay. I've been out of the country and on a travel binge for the last 6 weeks. I just saw your message.

You should be fine in finishing under 6:30 in Dallas White Rock if you use a 1-1 (run a minute and walk a minute) from the beginning. Shoot for a 13:30-13:40 pace per mile.

Contact our Galloway program for possible pace groups: go to www.JeffGalloway.com and click on the "training program" link and then "Dallas". You can email them, asking about a group at your pace.

I wish you the best--you can do it!
Dear Jeff,
I am training for the Dallas White Rock marathon on Dec. 9th. This is my first marathon. I had my first triathlon season this summer. I am 44 years old and have been running for 4 years consistently. The marathon in Dallas has a time limit for completion which is 6.5 hours. According to your chart of running times, I am worried about finishing in the required time. I ran a 5K in 32 mins. about a week ago. What pace do I need to maintain to finish in less than 6.5 hours? I am currently using your training program to train. Is there a Jeff Galloway pace group running the Dallas marathon? Your help would be appreciated.
