Most have already heard that one of our fellow triathletes, Steve Larsen (39), died on Tuesday evening during the beginning of a group track workout in Bend, Oregon. Preliminary autopsy results have eliminated blood clot or heart attack as a cause. Further testing is being performed. Steve raced professionally on the triathlon circuit for several years after an impressive mountain (NORBA champion) and road (Team Motorola) career.

While Steve now rests in a better place, his family and friends must remain strong for his wife and five children. A memorial fund has already been established. Donations are welcomed at:
