I could not agree more. The pool sits in between the San Diego Bay and Pacific Ocean and has awesome views of downtown San Diego. 50m pools are hard to come by, and this one has lap swim hours early in the morning, throughout the day, and in the evenings. I can't believe this one's in my backyard.

Or... you could just put the rebate in the bank and go do some interval work and shave the same amount of time...

Let's face it, except for the elite few out there, all the tech in the world wont make you as fast as sticking to a solid training plan.

Great info Jim. I have another one to add: My sister--who has spent extended time in places like Ghana and India--always takes probiotics while she is traveling.

I just did this. My sister's car had a flat and I had to drive it a few miles down the road to get it fixed. The pump worked great! I took the car to Discount Tire who actually repairs leaks for free.

oh my gosh! I would never take the stairs in your building...and I always take the stairs. I too like the idea of the elevator, although can you imagine how many people it will tick off at first:)

I think an additional component will be user-friendly stairwells. One of my office buildings has an ancient elevator and our office is on the 8th floor. I'd happily take the stairs except they are dark, cramped, and the building has several psychiatric offices including one for severe mental illness. The patients sometimes hang out in the stairwells. This makes it such that I'd never take the stairs unless accompanied by someone or in case of emergency. And this too is a academic building at a major university.

However, I love the idea of this elevator! I think it's a step in the right direction!
