Dane is the author of See Dane Run, the story of how he ran 52 marathons in 52 days all while working as a lawyer, to raise money ($44,000) for L'Arche-Mobile. He has also run the Baltimore and Pittsburgh marathons as the last runner to start, earning money for every runner he passed, to benefit local organizations.
