I had the privilege of meeting Macca at the Escape from Alcatraz a few years ago. He was genuinely engaging and sincere with the fans he took the time to speak with. He seemed truly concerened and interested in answering questions that I am sure he has had to answer multiple times. He freely gave candid advice about race day nutrition and preparation. Great guy, great ambassador for the sport. Job well done!!!

This is AWESOME!!

Little do people know thet the triathletes in Puerto Rico are celebrating Macca's win right now!!

Macca won big time in Puertorrican hearts this past May when he singled us out at the 70.3 in Saint Croix and had an AWESOME exchange with us all!

Macca proved to us then, and he is vindicating himself here, that he is true champion in heart and spirit.

We knew he has a man of deep character when he befriended us all in Saint Croix's Beauty and the Beast and we got to know who he truly was, and now he has prven once and for all that he was destined to be the greatest champion of all times in the Ironman.

Congratulations Macca!

After sacrificing a normal life for months of training, my journey to Kona was complete when I crossed that finish line to Reilly's booming voice proclaiming, "YOU ARE AN IRONMAN". Priceless!
