Hopping out of bed at 6:30 for a run (14F degrees outside) was the easiest thing I'll do today. This is me...staring at my reflection....for a rare, silent moment.....waiting for the sun to rise....to start my run.
I got home from my run with 3 little munchkins waiting at the door. One needed a diaper change, one wanted breakfast, and one was rushing to pack her backpack to not miss the bus. I took care of these things before I even unclipped my mp3 player from my shirt. Now I'll tackle a mountain of laundry, bake 4 dozen cookies for the first grade Christmas party, get the preschooler ready and out the door at lunch time, convince my two year old that a nap is necessary, and mop the kitchen.
"Any idiot can juggle chainsaws. It's the day to day balloon making that will drive you crazy." Supposedly this was written by a circus clown. But I think it was written by a stay-at-home mom.
Hey supermom!
How'd the run go? Did you feel good, stronger, breathing easier despite the cold?
Keep up the good work!
