Here's Coach Dave Dunham:
Megan here:
I don't even know where to begin! LOL
First, did you realize there was a horse's a** over your shoulder? My guess is that you planned it that way. LOL
Second, Holy Injury Bat Man! I guess my poor little aching knee doesn't even compare.
Lastly, who the heck still uses that kind of printer paper?! You must work for the government.
Oh.....you betcha! I definitely got out for a run in this beautiful weather today.
I'm glad you got a laugh! I put the horses in the background on purpose, my wife filmed me at the barn where she boards her horse. It was funny that they got spooked a bit when I unrolloed the paper. Cath (my wife) can be heard laughing.
Not only does the Government use "old" paper but they pay a huge price for it as well
800 injuries in 30 years. Most really minor (ankle sprains, slightly strained muscles), but a couple that sidelined me for quite a while. In 1997 I ran for about a year on a stress fracture. I wrote in my training log "foot really hurts" at least 300 times during that period. Eventually I completely fractured the bone and had to have it screwed back together.
Lesson from that......a training log is only good if you use it, and you really have to listen to your body.
Every day is a learning experience.
Have a great week!
