I imagine that ther is no jam to put anway now anyway! Yikes!!!!
Nice week of training. No need to increase the number of days of running just yet. Let's get some back to back weeks with 4 runs and make sure that nothing is hurting before making any changes. You are doing great!
Training pace that projects to a 25:00 5k is anywhere from 9:30-11:00 per mile, so you are in the "zone".
Keep it up!
Hi Toby. Thanks for the comments. Your comments are always so encouraging. I have to admit, it does feel good to see progress....especially since I've rearranged my life to accomodate this goal. The great thing is that I like this new lifestyle (of squeezing in runs between carpool and cookies) and will probably continue running long after my 6 month blog is done.
Hi Dave,
I'm in the zone, eh? Very cool. Now I just need to get my brain in the zone. That will be my biggest struggle here on out......getting myself to believe I can do it.
Thanks for all the encouragement and useful advice.
Megan
Hey Megan--I would say from the sound of things, you already ARE an athlete! and I am glad to hear that you like your new lifestyle of squeezing in the workouts. It guarantees your own personal time and hopefully energizes and/or relaxes you enough to be able to deal with a jam kitchen:)
Thanks Belle. Yes, I have to agree with you. Jammed kitchens are much easier to take when I have an outlet. Although, I must confess the jam incident brought me to tears. It took me a few minutes before I could see the humor in it. And yes, my workouts have become a great way to escape from the daily grind for a few hours.
It is also great to get so much support at Active. I'll be sad when this blog project is over.
Have a great week of training.
Megan
Great work with your training! That's awesome that you are experiencing the rewards of consistent hard work and commitment to your goals--way to go!
That mess looks like it took some hard work too... oh my
