A crispy, clear morning

With sun and some clouds

We swam without wetsuits

Though they were allowed.

Our blue, pink, and grey

Swim caps worn out at sea

Toby got pink,

Jesse grey, blue for me.

A triangular course

2 left turns per lap,

And time to recover

But not take a nap.

The miles passed quickly

We swam out and in

And battled the chop

Created by wind.

We finished the course

We conquered deep blue

And I couldn't have asked

For a better sea crew.
