I have always heard your name, my mother has looked up to you for as long as I can remember. I will never forget the day you were on the phone with her and told her you were one of her biggest fans. My mother played ball, but she never pushed me to play. I was eight when I told her, "I want to play softball mom." I will never forget the smile on her face. Her next question was, "What position do you want to play?" She was a catcher. I know she thought I was going to say that I wanted to be one, but NO WAY, I have from day one wanted to be a pitcher. I love the feel of being on the mound. Lisa Fernandez you are one of the three people that I look up to when it comes to sports. The others are my Mom and Jenny Finch. I like how you and Jenny always share your Faith with the Lord. I hope by the time I get through college there will be a Pro-Softball League.

I really look up to you. I mean thatmust be a lot of hard work being a mom and all. I am playing softball in school right now and i would love to go to the Olympics. I just heard about this and it is just amazing how softball can become more popular than baseball. Wow!!!!
