Posted by IMVoice on Dec 3, 2007 9:50:00 AM

ITS GETTING COLDER BUT OUR TEAM MEMBERS WON’T LET THAT STOP THEM FROM WORKING OUT. DON’T LET THAT EXTRA LAYER OF A WINTER BODY COAT VISIT YOU THIS WINTER! Mike

MICHELLE CREAPEAU Sales Consultant in NY ran the New York Road Runners Club 15K in 1:22 a 8:52 pace in 31 degrees- just missing the snow that fell yesterday in the city.....

Beautiful to see all the Christmas tree lots covered in their first snow.

PATTI ROSENTHAL for the first time didn’t ride this weekend but Skiied!!!! Durango received well over 2-feet of snow over the weekend. Opening benefit day at Durango Mountain Resort was Sunday December 2 & it had to be one of the best opening days on record. Lots of fresh powder runs & great friends to ski with - definitely worth the $15 Benefit Day Ticket price! Got in some great early morning runs in before the mass crowds appeared around 11:00 - perfect timing for a cold beer, then one last run to call it a day. Another storm coming end of week - yahoo!

KIRK JENSEN in the Sacramento office ran the Sacramento Marathon this weekend in 3:31. Way to go Kirk that is a great time.

DORI KARTALIS gets a kudos award for working the Las Vegas Marathon Expo and event this weekend for Active She was at the expo all day Friday and Saturday working the Solutions desk then the race Sunday morning, a tough job to say the least. Thanks Dori!

And while some of you were working out this weekend we had a CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM in the SD office at 6:00 AM Sat morning. They were working the phones for the rush opening of the St. Anthony’s Triathlon in Florida which filled in a day. You guys rock, THANKS!

SHILOH BUCHER and her husband Bill completed the 2007 Austin Reindeer Run 5K!

EMILY CHAN-NORRIS & KAREN HARDY Account Managers ran our first 5K on Saturday at the Jingle Bell Run in Balboa Park in San Diego. It was a bit cold when we started but we ended up having a great time nevertheless! We are looking forward to running more races in the upcoming months. Emily you can’t say it was cold in San Diego no one will believe you.

CATHY JANSEN Technical Writer – She and her husband did the Merrython 8K in Oak Bay (part of Victoria, BC) yesterday. The rain was trying to turn to snow during the run, but at least it wasn’t coming down too hard. We like that positive attitude Cathy!

MILLISSA EISLER Content Manager in SD Ran the Race for the Cure 5K on Sunday morning in Balboa Park

AMBER MARTIN Senior Marketing Analyst San Diego took her Mom to Las Vegas for her birthday. She then ran the LV Half Marathon and had her 2nd best ½ Marathon time of 1:47:15.

EDDIE STRICKLER Tier 3 Support and Track Star from Bothell, WA ran the 400 meters at the University of Washington Winter Preview Meet in Seattle. He was quite happy with his 51.48 at this time of the year. He was also glad that the race was indoors as it was snowing outside. Now there is a smart Active Winter Runner!

KARA PERRICONE ran the California International Marathon in Sacramento yesterday. She was trying to qualify for Boston and think she missed it by 26 seconds!!! If only I had run 1 second faster per mile! I don't know the official time yet but my watch said it was 3:41:25. Even though I didn't qualify, it was one of the best marathons I have ever run. The course was fast and the weather was perfect.

CHRIS WHEELER School Finance Consultant in K-12 (San Diego), ran the Death Valley Half Marathon on Saturday in 1 hour 39 minutes, and then rowed in the Long Beach Christmas regatta on Sunday in the open single, double, pair, four, eight and masters eight. Finished second in the open eight and third in the masters eight. He competed for San Diego Club. He says Death Valley was awesome!! Impressive Chris.
