Posted by IMVoice on Dec 10, 2007 12:42:46 PM

IT MUST HAVE BEEN A PARTY AND SHOPPING WEEKEND PLUS THERE JUST AREN'T AS MANY ORGANIZED EVENTS THIS TIME OF YEAR.  BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL OF OUR SNOWBOARDER AND SKIERS, NOBODY HIT THE SLOPES THIS WEEKEND?  HAVE A GREAT WEEK! Mike

TOBY GUILLETTE, Online Community specialist for endurance sports in San Diego, went to Joshua Tree National Park this weekend. The weather was perfect for his 5-hour trail run on Saturday. Sunday morning, they woke to a snow-covered desert landscape. This was his tenth trip to the park and first encounter with snow in the Mohave Desert.

KARA PERRICONE who works with Active Advantage in SD did a the Great Urban Scavneger Hunt in San Diego with a friend. It's sort of like the Amazing Race on TV. (by the way did you see AR on TV last night, how about the melt down of the boyfriend/girlfriend team, now that was funny)

Kara was 31st place out of 150 teams total and she said not bad for a team with no strategy!
