JIM HARNAGE, Nashville, TN participated in the RC Cola-Moon Pie 10 Mile run.  Jim says “The people of Bell Buckle are real nice folks.  Bubba helped me after I accidently locked my car while it was still running”.

CHRISTINE JACKSON, Nashville and her boyfriend, Joe Young, and I did the ziplines at Adventureworks just outside of Nashville.   What a GREAT experience !   While not very graceful, it was great fun, and we plan to do it again very soon !

MIKE O’BRIEN, Desktop Support II after the finish of the 44 mile Harpeth River Ride.  A time of 2:58:17 was good enough for: 27th overall out of 175 entrants, 5th in age division out of 26 entrants, 1st in actual age out of 5 entrants.

SKIP CLEAVER completed the 51st annual Mount Washington Road Race.  It is 7.7 miles from base to summit, climbing 5,000 vertical feet.  Finishing place was 777 and place in division 12.  This was my 24th run up the mountain and the 51st race.  In addition to this foot race there is also a bike race--times are very comparable because of the 12 % average grade.  It was also the 150th anniversary of the opening of the famous Mount Washington Auto Road in New Hampshire's White Mountains.

WILL STEED, Fellowship Technologies Texas. My friends and I competed in the Playtri Festival Sprint Triathlon Relay on June 5th in Irving, TX. TIFFANY SAIBIL, Account Executive in the London office – Endurance team, focussing on the Charity Chamonix, France and the view of Mont Blanc. The physio told me not to run, so I compromised with a 500m hike up from the cable car on one of the smaller mountains to 2,500 meters (8,200 feet for Americans?).

CHRIS HEMPHILL, Sr Manager had a great time at the Mud Run with Jeff, Joe, Amanda and Jill.  Great beer garden and we even got to see Lt. Dan Band (Gary Sinise playing bass).  Good times getting dirty and drinking beer with friends.

BRIAN ENGE  12 girls soccer team that I coach (Encinitas Express) won the first annual San Diego Sockers 4v4 soccer tournament.  The tournament had paper registration and definitely wants to hear from Active about next year.

On Saturday, BURT REPINE and TOBY GUILLETTE hiked Mt. Charleston (11.918') in Nevada which is the most topographically prominent peak in the state, and the eighth most prominent peak in the contiguous United States. It's the one you can see in the distance, from Las Vegas, that is covered in snow for more than half the year. The 17-mile loop trail afforded beautiful vistas and plenty of snow to negotiate during the final 1000' to the top.
