Going to the gym is always fun. I have to say that I have become bffs with the elliptical. I can do that machine with no problem even at a high resistance. The treadmill and I have become friends and the stair monster I mean stair master and I do not like one another. Oh and weights and I, bffs too. I have decided that my challenge this week is to take my workout outside not only at the gym. I realize it is harder for me to run outside than it is on a treadmill. I am not going to be running on a treadmill at my challenge so I think it is a good idea to start running outside.
I weighed myself this week and realized I gained 2.8 pounds in one week. I do not know what happened so I am a little bit disappointed in myself. I went to Walmart this morning and was very close in buying some fat burner pills because I got a little depressed. As a chemist, I told myself it is not a good idea. I kept on convincing myself I should not buy the pills. Thank goodness, I did not buy the pills.
I finally saw a doctor for my knee. I got x-rays and realized that I need to do physical therapy two to three times a week. I am actually really excited cause I am going to get help to stretch out. This is exactly what I need/want.
Overall, I am doing good with my running and training. I think I need to concentrate more on eating healthier and sleeping more. I think cause my schedule is so busy I am only sleeping like 5-7 hours a night. I think this is what is affecting me the most.
But this week... my challenge is to take it outside with my workouts. I want to see how I can do and progress myself.
