Yesterday I started coming down with my 1st winter cold. Yuck! I ended up taking yesterday as a rest day b/c I was feeling pretty bad.
Today I stayed home from work as my cold was progressing fast. I spent the morning sleeping and taking in plenty of fluids along with taking some Sudafed. By this afternoon I was feeling much better and did a 4 mile run on the treadmill. They say if the cold is from the neck up it is ok to continue exercising and that is exactly what mine is. My throat was a little sore after my run but my head felt much better.
I am bound and determined to stay on track...this is a big year for me and I'm not going to let no stinkin' cold get me down!
