I got in 2 runs last week ( a 4 miler and a 3 miler). I also got in one strength training session. I feel like I am finally getting back on track. I say that while knocking on wood! I felt really energized throughout my workouts last week.
I also did my first volunteering at a race this past Saturday. I manned a water/hydration station for a 50k. It was very different being on the other side of the race! I am so glad I did it! I was amazed at the amount of runners who stopped to thank me for coming out to help them out. It was a great feeling to know that I was encouraging a great group of runners to finish the race. I would definatley do it again!
So, this week I am off to a good start. I did a long run (6 miles) yesterday on the treadmill and I got in a 50 minute strength training session today. Here's hoping I stay on track!
