Well,
The orthotics don't seem to be doing it for me. A couple weeks ago I went for a seven miler and into my fifth mile I felt that ol' familiar feeling. I was so ready to run pain free and have this whole episode behind me. I called the ortopedic therapist I've been working with and explained that things were'nt going as planned. She was very apologetic and we immediately made an appointment to meet and see what's going on.
Of course, she's "never had this happen to her before"... I hate when they say that... So I gave her my insoles, she took some more measurements and wrote some stuff down and I'm still waiting to hear from her.
I guess in the holiday spirit I am thankful to have this problem. Using the philosophy of complaining about your shoes until you see the man with no feet kinda thing.
I'm sure we'll get this thing figured and when I do, Steve Austin watch out. I'll be better, faster, stronger.
Great job to all of you who set out to complete the NYC marathon and succeded. You are amazing.
I hope and pray to be amoung you in 2009.
Happy Hoildays,
Deano
