Yesterday, I finished my last long run - 20 miles. NO ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!! Horray. I was glad that I didnt' have any issues. My knee is fine. My time was not where I wanted it, but I had a million stops - sometimes it's just that way. The first half, I had a great time, humming right along, the second half is another story!!!! I stopped for the bathroom, my shoes were terrible yesterday. I just couldn't get the right fit. I stopped at least 4 times to retie my shoes. then I finally stopped 2 more times and had the shoes off readjusting socks, etc to be more comfortable. Then I was so thristy and the gatorade and GUs were so sweet, I stopped and got a bottle of water. It was the best water I've ever had in my whole life!!!!!!!!!! For those of you that don't know, I NEVER drink anything cold, always room temperature. This water was so COLD and I drank it so fast that I got a frosty headache. I can't tell you how good that water was though. Joanie, thank you so much for the water! It was the best ever!

I'm so thankful that David's MRI results were stable
These are just some of the things that I think about. I ran the first 15 miles without the iPod. It's just what I'm used to. I ran the next 3 with teh iPod and David ran teh last two with me. It's always nice to see his face when I run. I keeps me going!
I also travelled this week. I was supposed to hook up with Cindy Bohlin from last year's team. Her husband was traveling and I didn't get to see her, but I did get to talk to her. Everyone is doing welll and she has a trialthon this weekend and a 1/2 mile run when we hit the streets of NY!
Have safe runs the next couple weeks and stay injury free!
