I'm a new runner and I've been reading the running forums a lot and hear people talk about these long runs they go on , I was just wondering , how does it feel different from when you were outta shape only being able to run .5 mile compared to now when you can run 3 miles.
Ok, so I'm not Toby or Jimmy who run thousands of miles a week, and I am yet to finish a marathon under 4. But, I still consider myself a marathoner and sometimes I find it hard to identify myself with other folks.
I was supposed to run 5 miles yesterday but was so dog tired that I couldn't do it. I didn't get up this morning to do it either because I still felt like I needed to sleep. This is the miserable kind of tired I am talking about.
