New Site Templates

Posted by Ericha_eteamz on Oct 30, 2007 2:41:00 PM

New site templates We just released 24 new professionally designed templates (PLUS sites)!

The new templates are fun, sporty and easy to use. And the best part, they are 100% ready to go!  All of the font colors and graphics have already been selected by a professional graphic design artist. Of course if you have a little Graphic Designer in you, you can still choose your own colors, fonts, and graphics by using one of the classic templates.

Log in to the Site Templates section of your Site Appearance folder to check them out.

I started to look at the templates and it threw everything on my home page out of whack. How do I switch back to what I had?

Hi - the image you have on your site is too large for that template.  You can reduce the size and then upload it again.   Or, if you'd like to change to a classic template you can do so in your Site Templates folder.

Re the new templates, THANKS, I really like the flexibility to better define my clubs identity and be able to modernize our design.  A couple questions about the new templates:

1) The "hit" counter is not displayed on most of the new templates, I was trying to utilize your javascript and add it to my welcome page or other area and couldn't quite decode the variables from "view >>>source".  I would prefer you add it to the template, but I can put somewhere else, if I had the info.

2) Also, similar request, I like the fact that the contact information is in the left navigation area, but it is now gone in most of the templates, I would prefer this be there ..but I am able to add to the welcome or other locations.

3) Finally, the "eteamz" logo is prevalent in the top left corner.  If I pay for the "advertising" package, is the eteamz logo area mine to control, or only the space to the right of the logo.

Thanks for your ongoing work to make the site better!

Thanks, glad you like them.  All of the items you listed are not there by design.  Regarding the ad option, on the new templates only the top ad is controllable (the logo remains).  On the classic templates, there is a side ad as well and you can control that too.
