Who doesn't want the coolest website in town? Now you can with our custom border option on the customizable templates, allowing you to add a border around your main site content with either color or an image.

To do so, navigate to the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder in Admin.

1) Select the Border tab at the top of the page.

2) Select either an image and/or border color.

Why select an image?

Selecting an image gives you the option to choose where it displays on your page or as repeating. Checking the "repeat" option as "both" allows you to encompass the entire border with an image.

What if I want both - a color AND an image?

No problem! If you select both a color and add an image, be sure the image can be seen with your selected border color.

Here's a site that selected a border color to display with the same color as their background.

Here's a site that uploaded a custom border image.

We know you don't have a lot of spare time as a coach, team parent or site admin so we've made it easy for you to access your current contacts AND add new contact email addresses from other sources to your SmartMessage Center.

Follow these simple steps to add email contacts to select which addresses you want to receive any of your messages:

1) Select the template you wish to use from the SmartMessage Composer or click on the "New SmartMessage" orange button

2) At the top in the "To" entry field, you can simply type or paste email addresses (which are automatically added to your contacts) or click on the "To" button to access your existing list or add new ones

3) Expand or contract any part of your contact groups by clicking on the "plus" or "minus" signs

4) Select an entire group by checking the box next to it or select individual addresses checking the box next to each address

5) Finish by clicking on "Save" and then "Ok" and your groups/addresses will display in the "To" address field portion of the template. You can mix and match any number of groups or manually entered addresses

To add new Circles/Groups to your contacts, follow these three steps after completing Step #4 above:

1) You can also add new contacts by clicking on "Add Contacts", then enter the email addresses in the text box or click on "Add contact from your address book" to dynamically pull them in from Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail or AOL

2) Once you've added them to the message, you can also select which "Group" or "Circle" within your address directory that you'd like the emails to belong to (or leave it blank).

3) Finally, you can easily link to all of your addresses in AOL, AIM or Yahoo! Instant Messenger by going within SmartMessage Center to "My Account" and then "Channels"

We wanted to let you know about a few changes regarding our partnership with Shutterfly.  After a successful three years, our integrated partnership with Shutterfly has ended.  We appreciate the quality service they have provided to eteamz customers and enjoyed having them as part of the team.  Due to this change, you'll no longer be able to upload photos directly to your Shutterfly account from within eteamz.  You can, however, continue to upload pictures directly onto eteamz through the Albumz folder in the site admin tool.  There is no need to worry about your existing Shutterfly albumz; your photos will still be displayed on your eteamz site and still located on the Shutterfly service.

So how do you get started with the new eteamz Albumz when it launches?  That's the best news yet!  There's nothing special for you to do - we'll do all the work for you!  All your eteamz Albumz will automatically be transferred to our new eteamz Albumz and links to your existing Shutterfly Albumz will still be available on your eteamz site for as long as you keep those photos on the Shutterfly service.

Please feel free to contact eteamz support if you have any questions and thank you for being an eteamz customer and allowing us to share in your active lifestyle.

Of course you want your eteamz website to perfectly match your team colors...especially when they're fluorescent orange and baby blue. Well here's a tip to help you easily customize your website colors to perfectly match your team!

From the Customize folder,

1) Select a color by clicking the color box and choose either one of our eteamz standard colors or enter your own HEX code number in the box at the bottom right

2) Click the green "SAVE" button in the upper right of the page

3) Click the close button and your new color selection will automatically appear on your web site

If you're not familiar with HEX codes, using the following color guide will help you find nearly any shade under the sun. This guide displays 2 columns with different color codes - one for RGB color code and the other for the HEX #. Make sure you use the column for "HEX #" which is consistent with what we use on the eteamz sites.

Don't have one of our new fully-customizable templates? Simply login and upgrade to PLUS. From your Site Appearances, then Customize folder you'll be able to change the colors of your site.

And don't forget to submit your colorful new site to our monthly Spotlight Site Contest.

Occasionally, members sign up for a certain TYPE of site, Team for example, and then realize they need a different TYPE of site, such as a League site that will help them track more than one team. Here are some simple instructions to help you change to a different site TYPE and keep any account information you've already entered.

1) Register & purchase the site TYPE you want

2) Copy/paste large amounts of information from your first site to your new one

3) Re-enter roster information

4) Re-invite members to your site.

To keep you from being charged again, remember to set your original site to 'discontinue' by going into the +PLUS/Accounts folder and clicking the "full details" link and then the 'discontinue' link next to the features (PLUS, extra MB, Ad Option).

Or, you can keep your sites with the same account information by logging in first with your current login and clicking the 'build another website' link. When you no longer need your first site, simply contact us to delete it for you.

Here is a helpful chart to show you the different site TYPES to help you in deciding which site TYPE is right for you.

Sure you want to load up your site with great photos, but try to compress your images so that you can maximize the disc space on your website.

If using a digital camera or a scanner, you should have some kind of imaging software that came with it to help adjust the DPI size. If you can't locate your software, the best free download I've found is called Irfanview. As an added bonus, you can also use Irfanview for resizing images (changing the height or width of your photo or image) prior to upload if you wish.

You will need to edit and size the images before uploading them to your site. For best results use a 72 dpi setting. Typically, a 300 dpi will create a very large graphic file even if the image is small.

For example a 1 x 1 inch image at 300 dpi would be about 270k as where a 1 x 1 inch image at 72 dpi would be only about 4.3k - obviously a big difference that can ultimately save you tons of site space!
