Over the last month, I've been trying to get back into a routine running schedule that would eventually get me to a point of being able to run 3-miles per day. I started about 3 weeks ago when I ran a 5K route that took me over 35 minutes to do. On top of that, two days later, my quads were sore! However, I managed to put in another 5K run before the week was over. Then on Thanksgiving day, I ran the Stockton "Run against Hunger" race. The first 5K was not bad, but the second 5K was painful. In the end, I was able to run at about a 9 minute mile pace--completing the 10K in about 56 minutes. The feeling of accomplishment was great!
