As for their being a travel team, I think competing in only 5 preseason tournaments in three years hardly qualifies as a "travel team".

Excuse me, but only one kid, Zane Ancell, has a parent on the board. Additionally, 7 of the 11 families are blue collar employees. Their kids have proven for years that they were the best Lubbock had to offer -- just look at the records. Three undefeated all star seasons through the State level. 42-0. Sorry your kid wasn't good enough to be voted upon by the league coaches, but that's no reason to disparage the boys who were....

Yes, It is true that the Lubbock Team is a traveling team, and most of the kids on the team have parents that are board members to get them voted into the All stars. If you are not among the elite in Lubbock, no matter how good you are, you will not make it in the all star picks. Lubbock is ruled by the rich!
