MIHP Injury Watch

1 Post tagged with the oblique tag

Good morning. I am trying to contact your pitching and batting coaches and players for an internal study we are currently conducting at the Michigan Institute for Human Performance (MIHP). You can check us out on-line at www.mihp.net.

In response to the recent USA Today and Free Press articles regarding rampant oblique injuries in MLB, the MIHP Think Tank went to work and has potentially found the biomechanical cause and a simple solution to preventing and rapidly rehabilitating these injuries. We are in the process of contacting local baseball organizations to offer a complimentary biomechanical assessment to baseball pitchers and hitters, injured or not.

I would love to talk to some of your coaches regarding this opportunity. Please post or distribute the following flyer to your players and/or coaches. All study participants will receive the results and guidance.

Any players or coaches interested in taking part in the study should call the office number at (586) 268-6942 and ask for a baseball consultation.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Blog to report latest findings from the MIHP Think Tank (www.mihp.net) that may help many athletes get rid of musculoskeletal pain (i.e. back, knee, shoulder, etc.) that is stopping them from training or competing.
