John:

You might be surprised about what messages kids will relate to and learn from. I grew up in an alcoholic household and was witness to many "negative addiction" examples. In 6th grade we had a speaker come in to my school (Jeff Thaxton) who talked about his experiences with drugs, alcohol, domestic violence, homelessness, the struggles to reclaim his life, and his determination to help encourage others to NOT make the same mistakes with their lives.

Obvioulsy his message stuck since I am recounting it to you 20+ years later.

Good luck and thanks for all that you do.
