Well, as this is my first attempt, I will start by saying why I am here. The sole purpose of running, cycling, triathlon-ing for me is just to have a reason to stay in shape. If I dont register for events, I dont train for anything. I am also competitive by nature and love the competition that these sports provide. Mostly, the competition is against myself, always trying to improve my times, trying to better myself from my previous event. I guess that's what individual sports is all about. I just started training for what will be my 3rd 1/2 Marathon, in January. I would like to move up to an Olympic distance tri, and maybe a half IM next year. We will see how it goes.
