What was Hope Solo thinking?!? First she accepts a post game interview when tradition dictates that teammates who don't play, don't talk about the game. She outright says her coach made the wrong decision in replacing her. Then she claims she would "no doubt" have made the saves that Briana Scurry missed. And she brings it all together with a biting comment: "it's not 2004 anymore, it's not 2004."
Do I think Solo should have been in the game? Yes! Even though Scurry held a 12-0 record against Brazil going into Thursday's game, Solo hasn't lost a national game since 2002.
But Solo's lack of sportsmanship disappoints me , especially coming from a team of players that have stood out as ideal role models for more than a decade.
Even if solo was right...about everything...she probably ruined her chances of playing with the National Team in the Olympics next year and maybe even for as long as Greg Ryan remains the team's coach.
Do you think Solo is done for?

I agree completely. Very disappointing. I like Julie Foudy's take:
"I know a lot of players are upset at Hope's comments, to make the decision to go in front of a camera, and if I'm a player-I don't think I want hope in goal behind me."
