Long Term

I need to keep reminding myself that I have set a long term goal, not a short term-it-better-b-done-now goal.  I went running Monday morning and it was a horrible run!! I could barely run a quarter mile! I just wasn't feeling it at all.  I was pretty discouraged.  But last night I decided to go.  It was dark outside, but I decided it just didn't matter, I need to  go! So I left about 8, it was really good!! I did a fast paced walk for one mile and ran the mile home! I was really pleased.  It turned out better than I was expecting.  It can get pretty discouraging when one day is rough, but I just have to keep reminding myself that it's okay if some days are going to be rough, because other days will be great!

 

 

I went to the gym after running last night and on the machine where you hold yourself up by your forearms and use your stomach muscles to raise your legs- I did it with straight legs, 2 sets of ten!!! I have some serious muscles inside!!! They're just hidden by a lot of fluff!!! I need to not be discouraged because I'm not seeing the results I'm waiting for.  I can't turn into a size 4 over night.  I just have to stay focused and keep going little by little.  I can't go running tonight, so I'm going to make sure to do the fluidity bar and abs.  Tomarrow I'll go on a really good run, that'll be really fun!!!
