Ericha's April eteamz Tip

Why does the Game Name entered override display of score?
We've received this question quite a bit lately so I wanted to bring it up to the entire community in case you've come across it too. Some of you like to add a Game Name for your games, instead of leaving it as the default format (Team A vs.Team B). If you have a Game Name entered it will override the display of the score on the Schedule, Calendar and Home Page. If you would like to see the display of the score without clicking the link to the game, you'll want to edit your game and remove the Game Name. You may edit the game within the Games section of the Schedules folder. Click the edit icon located to the right of the game, remove the Game Name and click "Update Game."

Linking previously created Teams to your League site
If you have teams that already have their own eteamz site, or any site for that matter, add them to your league as a Site Type of "LISTING" and make sure to enter a "WEB ADDRESS" (ex. www.eteamz.com/myexistingteam) at the bottom of the "Add Team" page. This field is often overlooked, but was designed for this very purpose.

Many admins have been gearing up for the spring season and asking how to get things ready. Prepare your site for your new season by reading our New Season Tutorial. PLUS members have the ability to add multiple seasons and archive the previous season's data. Schedules, Rosters, Divisions, Board and Teams will be archived. Visitors to your site can choose to view past seasons by selecting from a season drop-down menu within those sections.

Ericha's January eteamz Tip
I came across a really cool site for adding a slideshow of images. I know how much you like to add images (especially slideshows) so I thought I would pass it along. It's very easy to use, you can add music, captions, change colors, etc. It took me about 10 minutes to create one. It gave me the necessary code which I copied and pasted into my Welcome folder for display on my site.

Check out my sample at http://eteamz.active.com/pageoffun.

You can create your own at http://www.rockyou.com/choose_widget.php.

Please note - I haven't seen any innapropriate content on that site but just be careful when visiting it just as you would any other sites.

Ericha's October eteamz Tip

One of the most
frequently asked eteamz questions is how to change the head webmaster on your site. If
you are the current head webmaster, you can make someone else the head webmaster
by following the instructions at http://eteamz.active.com/support/faq/delete.cfm#transfer.

If
you purchased PLUS for your site, be sure you discontinue your subscription
first. You can discontinue at anytime by following the instructions at http://eteamz.active.com/plus/PLUS_faq_billing.cfm#cancellation.
When PLUS expires, the new admin can login with their own username and make the
purchase within the PLUS folder. All of the previous features and
settings will return. It's that easy!
