Did anyone from our Orlando team do the half ironman this past weekend besides me? It was a tough race. The waves were huge, bike was sooo windy, and run was hot. I saw a few Team StayPut girls from Atlanta. Anyways, even though the conditions were hard this year, I'm glad I did the race.

I'm on the Atlanta team, but I did Gulf Coast this weekend. Awesome race!! It was a tough & hot day out there for sure, but it was awesome to see a few others in Goody gear! Thanks to whoever came up behind me in the park and gave me a little motivation!! It was much needed at that point! Awesome job to anyone else that was out there on Saturday!

I'm down in Miami and although I did not do Gulf Coast, I ran 10 miles on the beach and did a training swim in ocean as well. It was hot indeed and definitely quite windy down here too. So, congrats to you guys on the Half Ironman!

Hey Stephanie, congratulations on your race! How did you finish? I met you last year at the Morton Plant Mease Triathlon. You won and I got second! The paycheck was nice. I hope to see you at a race this year! Tracy Parker

Thanks, Tracy! Of course I remember you! How are you? I am glad that race (Gulf Coast) is over with. I think I will stick to the shorter stuff. I ended up 1st in my AG and 4th woman overall. It was all around tough!
I am most definitely doing MPM Triathlon. I look forward to seeing you there.
