I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Anyone do a Turkey Trot? Let us know how it went!

Our season is winding down. I have my last big race of the year coming up this Sunday at CIM. If anyone else is running, let me know so I can keep an eye out for you.

Weekly Update 11/23

Hi Team San Francisco,

I finished off my cross country season with a great race this morning. I had a 30 second PR on a tough course in Golden Gate Park. I hope some of you think about joining me for these races next Fall. It's really lots of fun!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! If you want to get in a workout before your Thanksgiving meals, check out one of the turkey trots in San Jose and San Francisco.

Weekly Update-November 9th

Hi Team San Francisco,

I had a great race at the Clarksburg Country Run today. All be it a bit windy on the return portion of the 30K, there was pretty scenery to distract my mind from the physical pain! This was a PR time for me on the course so I can?t complain too much about the elements!

Looks like we have a break from racing this week. Don't forget that resting is also key to a great training plan. If it is time to treat your muscles to a massage, check out Sunset Sauna http://www.sunsetsauna.com/ Although they no longer have a sauna available at the city location, their massage services are still available and a great way to recover.

I am still looking for any race reports you want to share with us. Let me know!

Weekly Update

I am going to begin re-posting my weekly emails to the team on our blog. Here's the update for week 11/2-11/8. Happy racing!

Hi Team San Francisco,

Congratulations to Ashley Frogner for a great race at the Marin County Triathlon. Ashley was 4th in her age group with an impressive time of 2:31:30! Also, congrats go out to Norma Moreno for completing the San Jose Half Marathon in October.

We are also racing this weekend! Melissa Aycock is competing in the US half marathon in San Francisco this morning. Send her some speedy thoughts. I took part in the 12th annual John Lawson Tamalpa Cross Country Challenge yesterday on a very muddy course in the rain. Despite the weather, I still had a PR race on the course. I guess I was running for cover!
