Toby - Excited to hear how the race goes... Just curious to see what peak workouts were for this week?
Hey Mike, thanks for the shout! Stoked for the race. My peak began last week. Here were the following key workouts:
Thu: 28-mile bike, 5-mile run
Sat: 18-mile run, .5-mile swim
Sun: 63-mile bike (climbs in Poway)
Tues: 1hr15min run, 1hr swim
Wed: 1hr15min bike
Thu: 1hr swim (pool), 30min run
Fri: 1hr15min bike
Sat: .5-mile swim, 22-mile run (from LJ Shores to Fletchers Cove and back)
Sun: 45-mile bike (cold, windy, 30 miles of climbing from Pine Valley 3000ft to Mt. Laguna 6000ft)
Long time no post.
Good luck on the Silverman it is right around the corner. I am not sure what booth we will be at. Do you know when you will be in town? If you have your race number already let me know so I can watch out for you and cheer you on.

Thanks for calling me out on not posting recently
I've been doing much more of the status updates through the micro blogging system Twitter that I haven't made the time for a longer post. So above you'll find my latest info on the taper and the race. I'll be out there Friday - Monday and wearing my ActiveX gear. I hope we can meet one another in person! I haven't got my number yet and I'm guessing I won't until the race expo in Friday. I'll have internet the whole time I'm there with my iphone so I can let you know. You should let me know which booth you'll be at when you find out. Let's keep in touch and try to meet
