But people use it to describe someone going kind of crazy over something else. I think I recently learned first-hand where the phrase originated. </p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p>It's pretty common knowledge that monkeys love bananas, right? Well I had the opportunity to hang out with some monkeys on my recent trip to Costa Rica, and learned that monkeys truly go crazy over bananas. Crazy. They go bananas.
