Ok I am going to write here on the Active.Com blog for a while. I like the site except I think the log book is lacking functionality with workout recording products other then Polar. I need to figure out how to write support and see if they can include Garmin and other products.

Yesterday I did a Spinervals workout called Big Gear Strength on the trainer. I feel like it went pretty well, I definitely need to get smoother through the entire pedal stroke but I am definitely getting stronger on the bike. Today is a short run and strength training. With some of these temps lately, running outside is actually becoming an option.

I was thinking about goals for my upcoming A race the Half Iron I am doing at High Cliff. My goal will be to go sub 5:30. Not having raced this distance or this course I am not sure how realistic this is but I think if I work my tail off between now and then and get a good day I have a realistic shot. We shall see.

So now I wonder if anyone reads this, if you do leave a comment. PLEASE. Have a great day.

Welcome to Active, Bob. We're glad to have you and yes, we're listening. I'll have an answer for you about the Garmin shortly.

I think you should go for your first half iron. I'm going for mine in 2 weeks and I'm so excited. I think training for that distances enables you to go harder in the shorter stuff if you ever go back to it...

Check out my blog when you get the chance

I am doing the High Cliff Half too! I'll see you there. You always seem very organized and dedicated. Sub 5:30 sounds doable to me! (for you, that is!)

I was wondering where your blog went to! Glad to see you're still on the interweb
