I have nothing interesting to write, it is at times like this that this blog seems very very pointless.

Anyway

Last week I ran 800's for the first time in a while managed 4 between 3:14 and 3:19

Thought is to just keep adding to the number of reps every other week

Ran 12 miles on Saturday avg 8:10 for the entire 12 and it was hard, to hard in my opinion.

Like I said I have nothing interesting.

Later, perhaps much later, I need a break.

I wouldn't say that post contained 'nothing'. It's good stuff. We all have lulls now and again. Hell, it's summer...it's all good.

Those are pretty strong 800's!  I've been doing those once each week and add 1 more after every two weeks.  Watch the speed commence! Good luck.

Sometimes after a major accomplishment, it can become "mundane" to write about other things.  I know I've struggled, this year, without an Ironman in my face.  I had a huge PR marathon, the return to the site of my first fiasco of a triathlon, and a half-IM in two days.  And I have the prospect of a 50-miler on the plate.  Even so, it's just been different than last year with IMKY.

Don't worry, you'll find things to write about.  And everyone will keep checking in to see what's happening.  Just remember to put up the occassional, "Hey, I'm here, but nothing is going on" post.  That lets people know you haven't abandoned the site.
