Five days to go. This promises to be a PR-run if all the stars are lined up! I'm hoping to break 4:30 and should be able to on the flat course and cool day. So far, the weather predictions are a bit conflicted -- either low 40s (for a high) and sunshine or mid-40s and maybe some rain. We'll see as the week progresses.

Training for this week:

6 easy miles today. 4 easy Wednesday. 2 werry werry easy Friday.

It looks to be a little chilly on race day! I don't think we'll see 40 degrees until beer time. Could be around freezing at the start. I've never worn tights, any recommendations?

Ah -- tough call -- I use a pair of UnderArmour tights "Cold Gear" with shorts over and a pair of jockey underwear underneath. And I liberally apply body glide to all the rub-points.

I also have used a pair of over-pants - just once - but I was happy with them. Depends a lot on the wind.
