Rain, rain go away

Posted by Trish18 Aug 20, 2007

I don't have much to report this evening. It rained again for most of the day and I went out for a 3-mile run. Heading north on Sheridan, I came to where the City of Chicago meets its northern suburb of Evanston. My route included many puddles and took me by a Chicago Historical Landmark of a Frank Lloyd Wright house. I felt pretty good. Back in the water tomorrow after work.

Looks like we may get a break from the rain today! I'll be out there making up my long run that I missed on Sunday due to the showers.

I think you may be right! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Is your long run part of marathon training?--I know this is right about the section of the Chicago Marathon training that has some pretty long runs on the weekend.

Yes, I'm training for the Oct 28 Grand Rapids Marathon. 8 more long runs and I should be ready! It's a bit humid outside, but I think it'll still be doable for a 13 miler after work today.
