Quakes 12U SGV are looking for a couple of student/athletes to join an already solid core of young ladies (01's and 00's welcome). Playing time is earned on this team. We have a college player on staff and coach has no daughter on the team.

We will be working out Sats., Tues., and Thurs. This is a great opportunity to join a solid organization with teams in the 10U to 18Gold. If you would like to join us for a workout then give us a call. All inquiry's will be kept confidential. This team practices out of the S.G.V.

Calif Thunder OC 97 - 14U Open Tryouts - SS, #1 Pitcher, Slappers!

California Thunder OC 97 is a second year 14U team that is looking for experienced travel ball players for the 2011/2012 season. CTOC 97 had a very successful 2011 season that included winning the AFA State Championships and finishing 2nd at AFA Western Nationals. We are looking to build upon our success by adding some strong, dedicated student/athletes to our very strong core of players who are willing to compete at the highest level, work hard and dedicate themselves to the team. All positions are open and earned.

We will be competing in both Premier & ASA events as well as all the other major tournaments. Our main goal is to qualify and compete in the 2012 Premier or USA/ASA National Championships. We will also strengthen individual softball skills, teach leadership skills, encourage teamwork & sportsmanship and prepare the players to be showcased.

California Thunder OC was formed by Murray Sportsman, one of the initial coaches of the original 1991 California Thunder 16 ASA National Championship team, founded by Tom Tucker. Calif Thunder OC plans to continue the philosophies and winning tradition of the original program where Murray's coaching experience was the at 14U, 16U & 18Gold levels. As a 2-time USA/ASA National Champion, Murray is currently the Manager/Coach of the California Thunder OC 98 team and an advisor to the 97 14U team. The Calif Thunder OC 98 team was also the 2011 AFA National Champion.

Calif Thunder OC is also pleased to accept the endorsement of 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist and California Thunder Alumnus, Leah O'brien-Amico. Leah will be acting in a consulting, mentoring and advisory capacity to the team.

This team will be coached by experienced travel ball coaches with over 15 years of coaching experience. They have a proven track rrecord of success and know how to teach, develop, motivate and build confidence in the girls. This team will also hit and condition w/ EM (speed, power & agility training) at the STC in Anaheim. If you want your daughter to learn the proper fundamentals and be pushed and challenged as an athlete in a positive, structured, competitive environment, then come check us out.
