Every year there are approximately 2 million senior high school student-athletes. Every year there are approximately 100,000 freshman college roster spots. That means that the chance of the high school senior playing in college is 5%. Obviously, those aren’t very good odds. For the past ten years Student-Athlete Showcase has been helping High School student-athletes get the opportunity to play incollege, and we’ve been very successful as you’ll see below.

If you know of anyone that has a son, or daughter, with the grades, and athletic ability toplay in college please send me their contact information or pass my informationalong to them. I would love to speak with them, and try to be a resource tohelp improve their odds of competing at the collegiate level.

Softball Prospects and Parents,

Force Sports will be hosting the High School Softball Prospects Camp on July 8th! This is a unique camp setting as it is the first in this area. You will have to travel to other states like indiana ect to participate in a similar camp.

Our objective is to give athletes instruction from the top college coaches in the area. We also would like to give the college coaches the ability to see and evaluate the top high school athletes in the area.

The Camp will be held at Firestone Stadium, Home of the Akron Racers, and we currently have 9 Colleges Confirmed for attendance.

Players will perform on the field with Collegiate Coaches. Coaches will be providing instruction, along with evaluating players on current ability, projected potential and areas to improve upon.

Camp's morning will feature: Timed run from Home to 1B and 1B to 3B, Infield/1B and Outfield fielding and throwing, Catchers will receive block and be timed on throws to 2B, Hitting Rounds.

Camps afternoon will feature: Controlled Live Game with participation from all players. Players may workout at multiple positions.

Colleges confirmed: Cleveland State University (OH), Ashland University (OH), Seton Hill University (PA), Hillsdale College (MI), Notre Dame College (OH), Gannon University (PA), Hiram College (OH), Ursuline College (OH), Lake Erie College (OH)

Competitive Girls Fastpitch Team 12U looking for one more to finalize our roster for 2013 season.

We are looking for a catcher to share duties behind the plate. If interested please contact me asap. We are currently practicing in the Akron and youngstown area on weekends. Our outdoor season starts in April - July - playing 7-8 tournaments ASA , NSA, and possibly USSSA World Series qualifiers!

We offer two complete uniforms, team helmets and team bat bags with reasonable fees! Hitting, bunting, fielding, mental and defensive instructions through out the entire season.

Coach has 5 plus years of travel ball experience including National qualifying teams in 2011 and 2012 and much more!

I have a $250 gift certificate I need to sell by 12/31/2012. It is good for any expense at MIdwest Sports complex and that includes registration into any tournament they are hosting. They are hosting many top level softball tournaments in 2013.

I got this by entering my team into a tournament and then having to back out. THey refunded half of my money and then gave me the other half in credit.
