Rhode Island Thunder Gold - Northeast Nightmare Coaching Opportunities

We are pleased to announce the merger of the Rhode Island Thunder Gold and the Northeast Nightmare. The organization will continue under the name "Rhode Island Thunder Gold". By combining the two most prolific organizations in New England we are looking forward to continued success during the 2013-2014 season. The Rhode Island Thunder Gold will roster teams from 10U to 18U Showcase. Under the leadership and direction of Dave Lotti, Rhode Island Thunder teams will train year-round and compete in local, regional, and nationally recognized tournaments.

We are in the process of organizing our coaching staff's for the 2013-2014 season. Any interested coaching candidates (managers or assistants) should contact Ed Lincoln by phone (401-529-8975) or email (nenightmareed@verizon.net). During the training and player development process, the organization will supply teams with highly knowledgeable consultants and trainers. Our goal is to provide our players the ability to maximize their internal potential and enhance the success of each Thunder team.

Tryouts for the Rhode Island Thunder Gold will be announced in the upcoming days. RI Thunder Gold 14U (OConnell) is looking for a pitcher to add to the roster.

We are adding a pitcher due to injury. We currently have 3 pitchers but one is injured so there are lots of innings for a pitcher who would like to join this team.

We will be playing in 7 tournaments in Mass/RI and then will be going to USSSA ESPN Nationals in Orladno, FL (Disney)

RI REBELS GOLD 18U - PLAYERS WANTED

The RI Rebels U18 Gold team is a year-round fastpitch program whose purpose is to train young women who desire to play at the collegiate level. We are based in Rhode Island and attend numerous college showcase tournaments in the northeast region throughout the fall and summer seasons. Our emphasis is the student-athlete. Our goal is to improve the skills of each player who commits to wearing the Rebel uniform.

Over the past several years the teams/players we have coached:

Have won numerous tournaments - ASA, NSA and Pony.
Have participated in over 24 college showcase tournaments with over 250 college coaches coming to see our players.
25 of our players have gone on to play college softball at the D1, D2 and the D3 levels.
All 4 of our current seniors are committed to play college softball - starting in the fall of 2013.

We are currently seeking players for the following positions: pitcher, catcher and infield. We will be happy to explore other possibilities with anyone willing to work hard and interested in playing top-rated softball.
