2013 BASEBALL YOUTH NATIONALS

Week 1: June 21^st – June 28^th 2013

Week 2: June 28^th – July 5^th 2013

The Baseball Youth Nationals is the premier youth baseballtournament in the nation. The Nationals is a weekly national tournament for 9U,10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U baseball teams played at the brand new ElizabethtownSports Park in Elizabethtown, KY. This new park, completed in July 2012, is barnone, the best youth baseball complex in the country! The park featurespristine fields, covered, stadium spectator seating, wireless electronicscoreboards, covered and enclosed dugouts, wireless (WiFi) Internet and more!

The event features 16 teams each week from 6 different agegroups, 9U-14U. Each team is guaranteed at least 6 games, half will play 7games, with a maximum of 9 games.

Teams are carefully selected from all submittedregistrations to promote an even playing level with parity among participatingteams. This is unique to the Nationals. We make every effort to create atournament with team parity. Our objective is to promote an equal playing levelwithin the field. At the very least, we aspire to match teams with equalhistorical success and classification in pool play games. We want to give everyteam a realistic opportunity to compete each and every time they take thefield.

This will be a 1 day event, so teams can relax on Sunday. Entry fee is $250 and tourney format is 3 game guarantee with 2 pool games and into single eliminiation. FIRST ANNUAL “INTERNATIONAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATIONAL” ANNOUNCEMENT

Legacy Sports Park is changing the face of tournament baseball by bringing a true International World Series to Texas! Legacy is proud to announce the tournament of a lifetime – the First Annual International World Championship Invitational.

Mark your calendars this event is set to take place August 7^th-14^th at Legacy Sports Park in northwest Houston. Teams from several countries have already confirmed attendance by their National, Junior National, and Youth Development teams. These players are the best from these countries and the future of their Olympic teams. The teams will be coming here fresh off of the European and Asian Championships.

Check the Legacy Sports Park website for all qualifying tournaments and additional information. This event is open to any team in any sanctioning organization; it is open to any level of team. There are a limited number of spots available in this event for American teams in each age group. Teams will be chosen based on limited number of teams from all regions in America, when they qualify, how many points they have earned in qualifying, and when entry payment is received. Teams must be a team that played during the year and played in a State level event with an official roster to be eligible for this tournament.

The tournament will be a 6+ game guarantee with pool games (we want to play as many as time will allow) leading to a double elimination bracket. Final format will be posted before the final date to register for this event. Legacy is working with some of the best tournament directors from around America to ensure this is a true Best of the Best tournament. To earn a berth to this event, you must win a tournament at Legacy Sports Park, win a tournament in a sanctioned tournament (by Legacy Sports) or earn enough points by playing in these qualifying events (sanctioned by Legacy Sports). To see if a tournament is Sanctioned by legacy Sports and track your points you only have to look at www.legacysportspark.com . If it is not on this site it is not a real qualifier.

In this event the International teams will be in the pools with the American teams. You will have the opportunity to play them in pool and in the bracket play. This event will not keep the International teams in 1 bracket away from the American teams where only the top American an International team get to play at the end of the event.

This event is not only about baseball and competition it is about getting to meet players from around the world with the love of the same game. Legacy Sports is dedicated to making this the best event for travel baseball in the World.

As of today with this announcement we have confirmed multiple teams in all of the age groups from:

Lithuania, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Czechoslovakia. We are working on travel arrangements with teams from Netherlands, Britain, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, China, Korea, and others are contacting us daily. The International pool is almost full in all age groups. These teams are sending their best teams to play head up here in America and want the challenge to see just where they are at.
