U12 Central Mass Thunder looking for players

The U12 Central Mass Thunder is still looking for a few dedicated, hard working athletes to complete the 2012/2013 roster. Our goals are to improve skills, promote teamwork and sportsmanship and compete at a very high level of play.

We will play 10 to 11 tournaments from April through July. We have an extensive winter program set up during the offseason to prepare us for the upcoming season.

The below highlights what we will be doing for the 2013 season:

- Starting in October, we will be initiating off season training 2 days per week at an indoor facility. Along with developing softball skills, we will have strength and conditioning program.
- From January thru March, we will be training at Planet Fastpitch with professional trainers for 10 weeks.
- During the Winter season, we will be playing in an indoor league and participate in indoor tournaments to keep our skills sharp
- Spring and Summer season will consist of 10 tournaments. We will play in ASA, NSA, PONY affiliated tournaments.

Central Mass Thunder Hosting an 18u tournament in Plainville, Ma on Sept 29-30

Central Mass Thunder 18U will be hosting an 18u tournament the weekend of September 28-30. 2012 at the PAL complex in Plainville, MA.

The cost is $275 - teams pay umpires as you play. We are going to play 3 pool games seeded into single elimination on Sunday.
