      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:b3492a8e-2ce9-46d0-9dd7-c25becde7612] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;A couple weeks ago, at about the 4 mile mark on a run, my back started hurting really bad.&amp;#160; Felt like a sharp, stabbing feeling in the middle (not lower where I've had a herniated disc in the past) back.&amp;#160; It got to the point where it was hurting even just taking a breath.&amp;#160; Seemed like the pain wrapped from my back around my ribs to the front.&amp;#160; Anyway, about a week and a half later, I felt back to normal and was itching to get running again after being "off" for so long and was feeling great until about the 2 mile mark.&amp;#160; This time, the pain was so intense I couldn't take a single step and has to wait a few minutes until the pain subsided.&amp;#160; Eventually, I was able to slowly jog the rest of the way.&amp;#160; This time, the initial pain was greater, but I felt normal faster too.&amp;#160; Now, I am a little gun shy about going out again.&amp;#160; I am thinking this is a muscle thing since it doesn't feel like my herniated disc did, and the pain wrapped around to the front of my ribcage.&amp;#160; Are these just spasms?&amp;#160; Can my firm have changed without my knowing it?&amp;#160; I've been running for a year now.&amp;#160; Can it be my shoes?&amp;#160; I have about 400 miles on them.&amp;#160; Our maybe it was the yard work I did before the first attack.&amp;#160; Anyone have something similar happen?&amp;#160; How much time did you give it?&amp;#160; Thanks, just curious about what my fellow runners think.&amp;#160; Thanks!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:b3492a8e-2ce9-46d0-9dd7-c25becde7612] --&gt;</description>

      <title>Finishing C25K next week...whats next??? Advice?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:71c37a38-8d4f-4479-b330-ce9dc10db067] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;The best advice I can give is to just keep at it.&amp;#160; If you didn't complete the day, do it again on your next scheduled day.&amp;#160; The program does a great job of getting someone from the couch to running, but it doesn't necessarily have to be done in the 8 weeks.&amp;#160; The main goal for most of us is to add some exercise into our lives, so the way I see it is that if you are out there doing the best you can, then you are doing way better than if you were just sitting on the couch!&amp;#160; It does work if you keep at it.&amp;#160; I went from not running at all in May to running 4 miles every other day now.&amp;#160; I would also suggest jumping onto the C25k board for September starters.&amp;#160; Group motivation is great!&amp;#160; Good luck!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:71c37a38-8d4f-4479-b330-ce9dc10db067] --&gt;</description>
