Couldn't run 1:30 without stopping at 1st. Last Saturday I ran25 min. Nonstop and it was a huge rush. I have been doing c25k since late Sept. and I am just now on week 7, but I have not missed running my 3 days a week yet. Just repeat weeks you need to and advance when you feel ready. My pants are looser and I feel better than I have in years. Yes my muscles ache on running days, but It is so worth it. I finally got on a scale at work for the 1st time since July and I am down 14lbs. That all came off since starting c25k in late Sept. I can't believe that I am sitting here wishing my husband would get up so we can go run. I almost went back inside , but told myself a real runner wouldn't let this stop them,so off I went. It was hard for me, but I was still smiling at the end. And much cooler when raining. Tired of being tired and concerned that my blood sugars were high at last appt., I started walking this summer. I was walking 3-4 miles each morning until school started. (Teacher) I am still walking 2 miles each morning, no time for 4. I want to up my exercise so I began running short burst during my walk. Today I heard about c25k, and I am going for it. Going to buy good shoes tomorrow and then start the program Sat. I am wanting to up my walking. After my 50th birthday and weighing in at 250+ at my Dr. Appt. I felt unless I wanted to become diabetic &amp;amp;amp; old before I was ready, I had to do something. I started walking daily this summer and was going 3-4 miles most days. In Texas summer heat , it was challenging, but I stayed with it.when school started, I teach, I just didn't have the time to go that far in the morning. Way too hot in the afternoon. So I decided I need to run so that I can get more exercise in less time. Because I went with a friend to a kick boxing class Monday, &amp;amp;amp; walked/ran today, I am going to start c25k Sat.
