That depends. Usually freshman on Varsity are being looked at, and even that is rare. Most colleges start looking for possible college players around late sophmore/junior year. But dont get down- you still have PLENTY of time to improve and be that star athelete you know you are. Make sure your coach knows your serious and into basket- like playing basketball in college. Also, in the past i have emailed my games to college coaches (start with a local, small college then see what that college says), and just talked to them about my future. Like for instance, you can send that video you said to a local, small collage. Finally, good grade (A's and B's) are what good college's are looking for too in a star athelete like yourself. Basically, get yourself out there and this workout may help to: https://s3.amazonaws.com/basketballrenegades/Ultimate+Scoring+Workout+Manual.pdf

email me/ message me @sportykw14@gmail.com if you have any more q's! HOPE THIS HELPS!
How can I score against zone defense?

The key thing to remember while playing a zone defense team is passing. If you pass quickily and accuratly, the zone defense may open up a bit. Also, depending on the zone defense, the low post(s) may be open at some points, especially if they are running back and fourth. Backddoor and setting picks/screens can be benefical too. Ask your coach to come up with so plays that are for zone defense, but tell him/her that you'd be willing to help him/her to learn more about beating a zone defense. Our team has one called traingle. If you want to know more on this play and some others- email me @ sportykw14@gmail.com. Ill draw them out and explain them to you or whatnot. Another note, if your team has practices maybe you can suggest to your coach about scrimmaging with a zone defense so you can get used to playing with a zone defense. HOPE THIS HELPS! PLAY STRONG!

ALso, remember: its not all about how many hours you put it, its the quality of the workouts you do and NOT the quantity. You should really only be working out (hard and intense-weight/sprinting/intense basketball drills) for no more the 90 minutes a game!

Like what JoshM33. Also, if there is a teammate that gets the ball it could be a easy layup depending on where the other players are on the floor. I think A does truly make the most sense.
