The ITZ Lightning u14 tryouts today have been moved to Ryan Park, Oak Hill Rd, North Kingstown, RI from 5 to 7 pm. This is the final tryout date.

THE ITZ LIGHTNING will be holding tryouts for their u12, u14 and u18 programs the next two days.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 15 ~ 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at In the Zone Baseball Club, Fall River MA - 390 Airport Rd

12u/14u ~ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
18u ~ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

THURSDAY AUGUST 16 4 ~ 8PM at the South Recreation Complex, Somerset MA (Corner of Read ST and Hot/Cold Lane)

18u ~ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

12u/14u ~ 6:00 - 8:00 PM

The u12 team will be coached by Tom Milburn, former Varsity Coach at Rogers High School. Tom brings a wealth of softball knowledge to the program. Tom was the Varsity Softball Coach at Rogers High School (Newport, RI) for 10 seasons, where his team made multiple playoff appearance. Tom has also been coaching the u18 ITZ Lightning showcase team for the past two seasons.

The u14 team will be coached by Adam Laliberte, current Varsity Coach at North Kingstown High School. Adam has also been the Coach of the u18 ITZ Lightning Showcase team for each of the past two summers. Adam's teams have been Division 1 South champions 2 out of the past 3 seasons.

The u18 Showcase Team will be coached by Maurice "MO" Jackson. Mo was the coach of St. Raphael's Academy (Pawtucket, RI) and is the current softball coach at Shea High School. Mo coached St. Ray's to 6 State Championships in the 1990s and 2000s. Mo brings a ton of softball experience to this position and many of his players have gone on to outstanding college careers.

The u18 team finished with a perfect 5-0 record in the New England Finest Showcase, the top showcase in the NorthEast.
