Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is proud to introduce our newest clinic, the “Dr. Dangles Stickhandling” clinic. Learn the stickhandling skills of the Pros utilizing cutting edge techniques and the latest training aids. This (5) night clinic is open to players of all ages and skill levels. Topics covered include: puck control, feel, acceleration & recovery, moves, fakes, and dekes. Overspeed Power Skating Clinic @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is proud to again offer our popular “Overspeed Power Skating” clinic. This clinic is designed to teach players the proper technique and mechanics for increasing acceleration and explosive speed as well as improving balance and agility. This (5) night clinic is open to players of all ages and skill levels. Topics covered include: posture, balance, edge control, forwards & backwards stride mechanics, lateral agility/pivoting, quick stops & explosive starts,and overspeed training. Special Needs Hockey Program @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is proud to announce our brand new Special Needs Hockey Program. This program is for children and adults with special needs, including developmental and intellectual disabilities such as ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, & Mental Retardation. The program offers two curriculum tracks. The Learn to Skate program offers basic skating instruction in a fun and supportive atmosphere. For those who are interested and ready, the Learn to Play Hockey program offers skating and hockey instruction with a focus on fundamentals and fun. On-ice instructors and helpers are provided. Skates and hockey equipment available for loan if needed.

SESSION 1: April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, June 2 & 9

SESSION 2: June 23, 30, July 14, 21, 28, August 4, 11 & 18

TIME: 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm

COST: $100.00 per session

If you are interested in trying out the program, we will be hosting two FREE open house events on Sunday, April 7^thand Sunday, June 16^th from 3:00 – 4:15 pm.

Pre-Tryout Girls' Clinic @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is happy to introduce our first ever Girls' Pre-Tryout Skills Clinic. This clinic is designed to teach the fundamental skills and style of play specific to the girls' game and prepare players for the tryout and evaluation process. Clinics will be high-tempo and fun while providing each player with important feedback while on the ice. All Ice Line clinics are designed and taught by current or former Tier 1 AAA, Junior,College, & Professional players and coaches. The Girls’ Pre-Tryout clinic will be run by Meredith Bitterman, Ice Line Hockey School Instructor and former NCAA Div. III player at Hamilton College, and Karine Thibault, Ice Line Hockey School Instructor and former NCAA Div. I player at Minnesota State, in addition to other guest coaches.

Pre-Tryout Checking Clinic @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is proud to again offer our popular “Checking 101” mini-clinic. This clinic is designed to prepare players for the tryout process by learning the crucial skills of body positioning, body contact, and body checking. Our (2) night pre-tryout checking clinic is open to players of all skill levels in birth years 1997-2000 (select 2001’s will be admitted on a per case basis). Topics covered include: angling, hitting along the boards, open ice hits, and absorbing checks. All Ice Line clinics are designed and taught by current or former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players and coaches. The Checking 101 clinic will be run by Paul Caron, Ice Line Hockey Director, and Jim Gehring, Assistant Coach with West Chester University and former Professional player.

Ice Line’s Annual Spring Skills Clinics continue tonight. These clinics are designed to prepare players for the upcoming tryout and evaluation period. Each clinic will focus on the fundamental skills of skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting as well as timing and flow drills and game situational drills. The clinics will be high tempo and competitive in scope and will improve the skills of players of all ages and experience. All clinics are run by Ice Line’s Professional Hockey Staff that consists of Tier 1, Junior,and College level coaches. Each clinic consists of four nights and costs $40.00 total for all four sessions. The schedule for tonight is as follows:

Rookies Beginner Hockey Program @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks is proud to announce our revamped Rookies Hockey Program. The Rookies program is an instructional hockey clinic geared specifically towards Pre-School, Kindergarten, and Home Schooled players from beginner to intermediate skill levels. The program features fundamental skill drills and small games. Whether they become the next “Great One” or just develop a lifelong love of the game, we will provide a fun, no pressure environment. With small class sizes and professional instructors, players can take advantage of more individualized attention.

Classes are held on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm and Thursdays at 10:00 am, and the next session starts November 6th and 8th. Each six week session costs $100.00. Sign up for both Tuesday and Thursday classes and receive a 15% discount.

Elementary School Hockey League @ Ice Line

Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA is currently accepting applications for individuals in our Elementary School Hockey League. Ice Line’s Elementary School League supports the individual and team development for our local scholastic programs. We introduce and prepare kids to play with their future Middle School & High School teammates. It is a great way to not only develop the players and the teams but promote school pride and rivalries for years to come. The Elementary League season consists of (12) games plus playoffs (all teams make the playoffs) and runs from November 10th to the end of March. Most teams also include practices in addition to the game schedule. All games are held at Ice Line on weekend mornings. The League has a total of (14) teams separated into three divisions: AA, A, B. Players will be placed on a team within their school district, or if their school doesn't offer a team players will be placed on an existing team at the appropriate level. The Elementary School League is a great opportunity for players looking to play in an in-house program without the cost and travel of a club team or for travel players looking to get more ice time.
