You can HAVE my 2012 MCM bib

So...my plan last year was to run the MCM in honor of my little cousin (Marine) who died in Afghanistan, but my knee had other plans. I got hurt so I extended it to this year. Now I'm too fat to run and am very out of shape so I'm giving my bib away to whomever wants it. I'm not sure how it works but I think that you have to run under my name since I remember reading something about no transferring. In October when they e-mail me the card I'll forward it to you along with what ever other info they require (copy of ID to pick up bib and paperwork).

My goal was 1.5 hrs since I didnt really feel like I was ready, but I ran it in 75 min. I'm so excited and can't wait to do the Jingle bell all the way. Any ideas on how I can improve my time?

My calves and the area below were so tight they couldn't be rubbed out. I talked to a friend of mine and she said needed to drink more water and use a foam roller. It worked great! I use the foam roller before and after my runs and I haven't had any problems since.

It feels like no matter how much I eat, I cant get full. Well, I'll be full for a few minutes then it's back to being hungary again. I dont just feel hungry, I feel like I havent eaten for 2 days. I used to be able to go the entire day without eating and now I cant go an hour. What's wrong with me?

Isn't it exciting just training for it? I think I may be a little obsessed. ALL I do now is read articles on running and I schedule everything around my running schedule (even cooking dinner which my fiance isn't too happy about). I think I may have a problem...really!

It's really cool that you started a mumtomarathon blog. I know a few people who could use that motivation.

BTW, I wouldn't exactly call myself healthy. I could stand to loose a few pounds (50 to be exact). I feel like I should do some conditioning before I add any more miles. lol.scared my knees are going to shatter beneath me. I'm going to add strength training and swimming soon. Hopefully that will get me into shape.

Make sure you keep me updated and I'll do the same.
