I had one run that was really

off -- it's a course I have been running for a few years and know that it is 6

miles, but the Nike+ read 7.2 that day. That's the only time it's been really

off; otherwise it's pretty accurate. I recently ran at a local lake with a

friend who has a GPS. When we were running along the road, our "toys"

were completely in synch, but once we were in thick trees her GPS was not as

accurate as my Sportband.

At this time of year I have

to do an unfortunate amount of indoor running, since job and family life take

up all the daylight hours. My gym has a small indoor track: 14 laps = 1 mile.

It is MUCH easier to just zone out and run now that I'm not counting the laps!!

I'm a pretty low tech chick,

so this meets my needs fairly well. One thing I don't like is that the pace fluctuates so drastically that I really can't tell what my pace is at all. On long runs I wear my regular Timex Ironman watch, too, and hit the split button every mile. Overal, though, I'm happy with it.
